I have some of black and white video of American Top 40 (AB), the week that Green River came out, "number 2, Three dog night and now the number one song"

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Green River

That is some treasure you have then. I vaguely remember American Bandstand.

I do remember seeing and taping to cassette Tom Fogerty on AB. He played Good Bye Media Man.

On my footage it shows the full intro to the show, then it cuts to the guy describing what CCR stands for (literally) then it opens to Green River, at the end he gives John Fogerty a Gold Record of the Green River Album, and interviews him, he then plays Commotion, and then the video ends.
