Default For CCR Record Collectors

For 45's: "Fantasy Green & Red" label vs. "Fantasy Brown" label.
Any knowledge on which is a "first press". All my CCR 45's have the green & red label. re Fantasy # 637 "Travelin' Band b/w 'Who'll Stop the Rain", I just got a brown label one from a juke box. Both labels have the same stamped "F 2764" in the dead wax. Both are American pressings to my knowledge. I know the LP's were brown. Any info on the greens vs. browns 45 labels as to which one is a first press?

Maybe this would be of some help to you.

Apparently Brown Labels were used from 1972 onward?

the 45's color schemes were different from the LPs

So the LP's had a brown color scheme in '72, but the singles had a brown label earlier than that.
