Hi Everyone -
I wanted to tell you about a new retrospective for Woodstock's 40th anniversary -
WOODSTOCK Peace, Music & Memories (Krause), which will be hitting the store shelves by mid-June.
This book is best described as a narrative -it's an "in the scenes" story of the festival rather than a behind the scenes, and is told from the vantage point of attendees, performers, and crew who were there. Primarily the focus is the Woodstock experience through the memories and personal photos of the people who were there and . With a foreword by Artie Kornfeld and epilogue by Wavy Gravy, this 256 page book is designed with the look and feel of a scrap book / photo album and takes readers through the creation of the festival, the festival itself, and the 40 year legacy. It also includes a section on collectibles from the festival as well.
We've just launched a new website for the book and have a few ads running on YouTube, and I'd like to invite you to stop by and check it out when you get a chance, and get a taste of what's to come.
