Ok first off hello and i hope my stay here is a good one.

For me hendrix was well before his time and could have been a fit in todays music, But CCR are without a doubt the best band from that era! The beatles were just plain boring after a while and the stones were very generic ! The one thing creedence done well was being different, Styles changed but they still kept a core sound, The Doug and Stu section is without a doubt a great section , Tom you could just rely on the preform and john just done his thing, No great showmanship but just great music.

The thing with hendrix was it was all about the show the flamboyant guitar solos and the crazy dress sense. CCR was all about good music, There music done it all no massive shows no crazy guitar solos just great music

They both did GOOD sound music......ahhhhhhh, if only Jimi were around today to kick the crappy Lady Gagas off the stage!!!!!
