Omitted songs on Live in Europe CD

ln the late 80s l bought the CD and Door to Door and Sweet Hitchhiker were omitted. Why were these songs left off of the CD?

Wikipedia has this blurb in it



"A 1987 reissue of this title as a budget-priced single album omitted "Door to Door" and "Sweet Hitch-Hiker", both of which were originally recorded and released as a trio. A remastered single CD was released by Fantasy Records in 1999 which restored the two missing songs."


Basically they got cut in the 1987 re-release because they had both been recorded after John's brother left the band, the album itself was not recorded in a single session, instead its bits and pieces of their various tour stops in 1971/72.
