Suzie Q , I Put A Spell On You , Coton Field , Midnight Special , Ooby Dooby ,I've Heard It Through The Grapevine , Workin On A Buildin & few others. Before JOHN FOGERTY decide to revive those songs , who can really say that those songs exist. There were all potential hits but they never became very big hits.
The original versions of all those tracks were sometime very poor & even sometime ridiculous. Have you ever heard ' Suzie Q ' by Dale Hawkins ? That was really mediocre . Thanks to JOHN for his inspiration & for his d?cision to give all those tracks a new life. They are now world hymns. I am only sorry and all I can hope is that Huddie Ledbetter ' Leadbelly' can appreciate the strongest & more melodic versions of 'Midnigt Special ' & 'Cotton Field'. They are now Immortal songs.
