Are there any true stereo recordings of the following Creedence songs: Bad Moon Rising, Lodi, Proud Mary, Penthouse Pauper, and The Working Man?
Please respond and thank you. |

I think BMR is in stereo on the Creedence Gold album, at least on the Quad LP version. look for it on john's message board.

YES! I have some of them!
I have the stereo versions of "Proud Mary", "Bad Moon Rising", "Lodi", and "Sweet Hitch-Hiker". I managed to find them on Napster many years ago. I still have not been able to find stereo versions of "The Working Man", or "Penthouse Pauper".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proud Mary always was in stereo, just narrow stereo, what I just heard in that video is a matrixed version of proud mary, someone just expanded the stereo field to the extreme left and right (which is why the drums sound piffy and weak now since it takes away from the center channel, IE spreading the sound thin) I had the real deal a while back, I made it as part of a demo recording. But I destroyed it and all my other materials earlier in the year. Maybe I need to redo some of this stuff and post a vid or two... Only one studio-issued "wide" stereo version existed and that was after CCR's demise, Creedence Gold on vinyl, and it goes for sky high prices. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could you clarify that?
Creedence-Gold on Vinyl is the one that has "wide" stereo versions of BMR and Proud Mary, its one of those quad records that has 4 channels, thats why its in stereo. Its also very expensive if you find it. As for the ones I engineered, as said I destroyed all of my CCR stuff last year.
