I think they had: a rhythm guitar (Tom), a bass guitar (Cook) and a drumm (Clifford) with John's guitar leading the band, to shows. On records we can listen piano or keyboards instruments. Some guitars were Yamaha like the John's black one.

Lightbulb Their gear (CORRECT!)

John's stuff:
Rickenbacker 325
Gibson Les Paul Custom
Kustom K-200-4 and Fender Concert and Vibrolux amps, 2 Kustom 2x15'' cabinets on stage
He had another Les Paul (with a Bigsby Tremolo) in the studio, and a Gibson ES-175 (which was stolen)
Hammond organ for the Pendulum stuff
Probably a Martin Committee saxophone

Tom:
Rickenbacker 330, two Guild Starfire IV's.
Kustom amp and 2 2x15'' cabinets live

Stu:
Rickenbacker 4001
Fender Precision Bass (modified)
Fender Jazz Bass (hand-painted)
Gibson EB-3
Kustom amplifier and 4 Sunn 2x15'' or 2x18'' cabinets

Doug:
4-piece Ludwig and Camco drum kits, Slingerland in the Blue Velvets and early Golliwogs days
