Smile New Here

So happy to have found this CCR Forum. I was introduced to John Fogerty and CCR in high school. Purchased "Cosmos Factory" as an eight-track tape and wore it out. Bought many other albums and always loved the dance-able music CCR performed.
Personally spent 20 years playing Bluegrass & Folk music. At age 45 I returned to Rock-n-Roll and the music of John Fogerty...began playing electric guitar. And recently attended a John Fogerty Concert at Hard Rock in Tulsa, OK. He still rocks at age 70+. Best concert I ever went to. Period.
As my occupation is repairing musical instruments I get the opportunity to hear many amateur musicians in my store. They all love CCR and Fogerty. Me too.

Thanks for the welcome. Maybe we can obtain more and more members and all of us contribute to make the site busier. I teach lessons and have students wanting to learn lots of classic rock, and occasionally CCR and the why of Fogerty's Riffs and Leads. When I research and learn songs I write tablature for the students. I can scan some of those and post them.
