Lisbon early1983

I just heard a great bit of "R+B" ? on BBC R2 - Bob Harris -, and whaddoyaknow - it's John Foggerty, innit !
And so I thought I must try to get in touch, just to see if either John, or Tom, one of whom I met in a street in Lisbon way back in '83, remembers the ocassion ? Since then I've built an incredible wind Turbine-Alternator Device that people need to get wise to ! Unlike the violin I was trying to "busk" on at the time, a great success story.
Any clues greatly appreciated,
