Don't look now.
Who is singing on "Don't Look Now."?
I think he has different voice from most of the other songs. Thanks. Last edited by Kimmerly; 19.01.2008 at 10:04. Reason: I like his voice. |

It's John Fogerty singing. He's just singing in a deeper tone.

Thank you, Fogy Fan.
All my friends from USA. Canada, Phillipin, now in SheKou/ShenZhen are listening to their songs. We gathered at a resturant and play CD. Everybody is so high to re-feel the deep touching of all their Songs. Have a nice day. |

Yep, that's John singing in more of his natural range and not "screaming" like he does on some songs ("Travelin' Band", anyone?) and I like it quite well. I also like "Lodi" and "Effigy" - my Stepfather turned me onto CCR when I was a little kid when he first came into my life around me being seven years old. I like their version of "Proud Mary" but, since I'm also a very big Elvis fan, I like his live version (with the legendary Ronnie Tutt on drums) much better. It's got a lot more "energy" and "fire" to it. From 1970-1972, he would do "Proud Mary" quite often in concert. The 1970 versions in concert aren't really perfected as of yet because of Elvis having a substitute drummer (Bob Lanning) on the drums during that first January/February, 1970 season in Vegas.
