That is Stu Cook, the bass player, singing. On CCR's final album, Mardi Gras, each member got to sing and write their own songs.

You have the box set right? What is 45 Revolutions Per Minute all about? I have heard about 1 minute of it and it makes no sense to me. If anyone has the box set and has heard 45 Revolutions Per Minute can you please tell what it is? I hope you have a nice day and ROCK ON!!!

Other songs that have Stu Cook singing are "Take It Like a Friend" and "Door to Door". Both of these songs are on Mardi Gras.

I've listened to both parts, and as far as I get it, it sounds like they were on some kind of show special or something. I can't say for sure.

it was a promo reel made to mock radio interviews and such that were common at the time, everytime CCR got interviewed the host would always either say they were washed up, or were about to be washed up or ask "how long do you think this wave of sucess will last" or the interviewer would ask rude questions to try and get a rise out of the boys.

The part of the tape that is playing backwards is John plugging an advertisement for "Crazy Auto (otto)"

the part where doug speeds up his voice is his complete recollection of how CCR became CCR and how they joined fantasy records.
