What is JF singing between the words "Lodi" and "again" - it sounds like "up" but it dosn't show in the lyrics??

"Oh Lord, stuck in Lo-di Uh-Gain"--it's just "again" split into two distinct syllables in Fogerty's pseudo-Dirty-Southern affectation.

Somehow, I doubt a bunch of San Francisco teens took a greyhound to Lodi, Italy. My guess is that it was, indeed, Lodi, CA, USA. Having been stuck there myself, I can understand the frustration.

It is most deffinately Lodi Ca. John talked about it in a live concert at the Pine-Knob in Detroit back in 98, And also on Premonition CD when he talk about his amp of over 25 years and of the list of concert he played
