I hope I don't seemed out of touch but I never thought CCR used drugs? I mean other bands from that era were adiment about it in their music like the Beatles in the mid 60s when it started showing up in their music. Since I just showed up in the world in 1969, maybe some one could clear this up?

Um, yeah... I live in a town with 100,000 people and there are like 6 shops where you can legally buy dope...

I totally agree, and one thing that made me CCR fan was that they never needed drugs to write or sing theyr songs; they are clear as the water

For the RECORD...CCR did NOT use drugs of any type......
