Who sings it?
Hello
I'm new to the forum, but signed up because I appreciate and enjoy the music of CCR and now John Fogerty as a solo artist. I'm posting a question because I can't seem to figure out who sings "Don't look now." I've seen it written that it is indeed John, but it sure doesn't sound a thing like how he sings at all. Thanks! |

It was written and recorded by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969 on the "Willy and the Poor Boys" album. He also played it live in 1970 at the Oakland County Coliseum. John Fogerty is known for randomness, he plays anything that sounds good, I would have never thought I would see him on MTV but he did that in the 80's with Vanz Kant Danz and the Old man down the road. Hes played gospel music, hes played synthesizer music, hes covered just about all types of music. (In 1973 and 75 he made 2 albums where he played all the instruments and sung/wrote)

Thanks for the clarification.
John has a wide range of vocal talent, sort of like how it doesn't sound like he sings "susie q" either I've noticed. Good stuff. |

His 1975 solo album he used his growl in nearly all the songs, I liked that album a great deal might even become one of my projects who knows.

Thats John Fogerty, recorded in concert January 31st, 1970. That was when Creedence Clearwater Revival performed at the Oakland County Coliseum in California.
