is there any hidden meaning behind bad moon rising? All i can get from it is that there is only worse to come no matter what. Is ther anybody who could tell me if there is any special/hidden meaning to the song?

what it means is that there is a good side and a bad side to everything. but what is usually looked at is the bad side of things. "I see a bad moon rising, I see trouble on the way, I see..." that means he thinks something bad is about to happen.

its about vietnam.
tlaking about having a bad feeling about a war patrol, bad moon rising--> bad feeling he;s not gonna make it back from patrol CCR wrote tons of vietnam songs, ie: run throught the jungle (one of their best)
