"willy goes into a dance and doubles on gazoo".
I'm from Finland and I've never heard that word before, what does it mean? |

the word refered to is Kazoo. I'm not shure if this word is used in Finland, but a Kazoo is a small, plastic instrument that makes a noise simalar to a duck quaking.

Hi, there !!
Yes, that's exactly a kazoo... not to be seen on a regular basis within rockbands, but somewhat popular among one-man-bands, often combined with harmonica. You might have never heard of Edoardo Bennato: he's a very well-known writer-singer over here in Italy, playing guitar+harmonica+kazoo... and the kazoo was a real trademark of his first albums in the early seventies... really worth listening if you manage to find them...
