Yes, it is. I wish it wasn't, because this is very sad. But, (...a big sigh), it is. John refused to speak to the other bandmembers, including his brother Tom, and when Tom layed on his deathbed, Stu and Doug had to persuade John to go and see him before he left. Why John didn't speak to them? That is a long and complicated story, but you can find some of the answers on this site, under "History" on the mainpage.
