...a couple of weeks ago, in fact. She's a huge Creedence fan. She believes they are the greatest Rock & Roll band ever. Yet, she's only heard the songs off the CHRONICLES albums.
So I brought her my CDs of their debut album CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL, as well as BAYOU COUNTRY, GREEN RIVER, WILLY AND THE POOR BOYS, COSMO'S FACTORY and PENDULUM. At first, I was just going to play the songs she hadn't heard of, which aren't on CHRONICLES. But she told me to play them in their entirety.
As we were listening she kept writing down more and more songs because she wanted my step dad to record some of them off my CDs. When we were done, my step dad looked at the list and said, "why don't we just buy the CDs instead?"
This made perfect sense, of course. So looks like she will have a new collection of her favorite band! If she doesn't buy them, I'll get them for her!
