Herman Dunkel and the CCR Tribute Band

CCR's music, that is to say John C. Fogerty's compositions and arrangements, went against the grain of it's contemporary mainstream Rock and Pop releases: despite this, it remained pure Rock'n'Roll - timeless, straight-ahead, no compromise, no excuses, no sequencers, no drum machines, nothing digital. It is to this philosophy that Herman Dunkel and the CCR Tribute Band has devoted itself. This Sound - one that makes the listener happy to rediscover, a "diamond in the rough" amongst all the plastic and silicon of today - is also familiar to the younger generation thanks to many cover versions in recent chart history.
This Sound, this music, this feeling, doesn't come out of an Atari or any other computer. It is hand made by musicians who understand their craft. No virtuosos, no "ego trippers", not your average, neatly pigeonholed music, just the crystal clear transparency of Guitar, Bass, and Drums.
Honest music needs no gimmicks, it requires real ability, and true belief in itself, but beware! - turning back the hands of time can tug at the heart-strings! Herman Dunkel and the CCR Tribute Band however can not be held responsible for any attacks of sentimentality, heartaches and the like! Thank you John C. Fogerty, thank you Herman Dunkel and the CCR Tribute Band - it's only Rock'n'Roll, and we like it!
