You can always use the following BB Code in order to display a YouTube clips within your post instead of having an external link:

Converting YouTube links
Please vote above whether you would like to automatically convert YouTube links to embedded clips when posting or editing a message.

That isnt a great idea, for people with computers/internet that cant handle the burden of flash this would slow them down to a crawl, if you have the power to view a youtube video well then you have the power to click a link. Just my humble opinion

But an advantage on the other hand is not leaving this forum (which is important for us).

Most low end windows machines would freeze with just the presense of flash, let alone a video trying to buffer, I had a 1.4 ghz pc that would just die under the presense of flash (even with a 128mb nvidia card) alot of people still use the computer of yesteryear, my main source of income (Self-employed) is repair and programming of computers/servers, of course it was just a friendly suggestion ;) my dually 3.0ghz has no complaints in his corner hehehe |
