Hi everyone, I'm from Perth Australia and have loved CCR since I was 7. I'm heading to the USA just after my 28th birthday and desperst want to see SOMETHING that has relevance to CCR. Unfortunalty I won't get a chance to head to the west coast and have no idea (except rock n roll hall of fame) where to see SOMETHING. Any help will be much appreciated.

Well its been 42 years or so, not much left i am afraid, i can try to list what there would be but it isn't that good:

*Cosmos Factory Burned down years ago, so you can scratch that one

*Duck Kee Market is no more, the sign got stolen years ago and while the building is there, not much to really look at now

*Oakland/Alameda County Arena, now know as the Oracle Arena, its still there so if you'd like to see where they performed and recorded their live album "The Concert" that location is still there for a while yet (its gonna get demolished as soon as the new arena is built. idk how you go about getting permission to go inside though.

*As for Fantasy Records, the 'house that creedence built', corner of 10th and Parker in Berkeley California, im not sure what you'll find there, but thats where creedence was born and thats where the albums were made.

*Wally Heider studios became hyde street studios, it should still be in San Francisco california, idk if it even remotely looks the same anymore, Wally Heider was sold in 1982.

*Concord Music Group should still have a presence in Berkeley California, they bought Fantasy Records and may be courteous to you if you visit them considering how far you've traveled.
