Save The Planet
I wrote this song. I want John Fogerty to record it. Who can get it to him?
Save The Planet http://jimcolyer.com/@tracks/20/lofi.mp3 We're floating on a grain of sand in the vastness of space If future generations are going to inherit this place We've got to Save The Planet Do something while there's still time Save The Planet This earth is yours and mine The tropical rainforest is disappearing more everyday We'll never replace it, we'd better not burn it away Save The Planet The wonders of nature are free Save The Planet Have you ever planted a tree? If the skies are blue And the oceans too Isn't this a better home for me and you? If the air is clean And the land is green Wouldn't you like to be part of this lovely scene? solo I'm thinking of the animals that once roamed the African plain Their numbers have dwindled, pretty soon none will remain Save The Planet Do something while there's still time Save The Planet This earth is yours and mine Save The Planet The wonders of nature are free Save The Planet Have you ever planted a tree? Save The Planet Save The Planet Save The Planet Save The Planet Save The Planet, Save The Planet Save The Planet, Save The Planet Save The Planet, Save The Planet Save The Planet, Save The Planet Save The Planet Save The Planet Jim Colyer ASCAP http://www.jimcolyer.com/music |
nice song! it's like a jingle to greenpeace XD

We were put here, and were to utilize everything on this planet available to us, including every blade of grass and every random tumbleweed..... Thats my one off-topic vent im allowed each 6 months. or heres a simplified formula for why greenpeace erks me: *To save 20 trees, they will destroy 2 million dollars worth the equipment (bulldozers, etc). *Instead of trying to save 20 mature trees that are mill bound, why not plant 40 new ones? Meh but thats too logical, its much more fun to blow up bulldozers....it makes for good television! (P.S on earth day, I celebrate by turning on every electric lamp in my house, and booting up all the workstations to full power. Power plants do not slow down when your not using power, they will run at 80% no matter what, if everyone turned off everything at once, you would have a new york blackout all over again, it would overload the system) and yes I know this thread is 2 million years old.... --the monk |
