Does the album give any hints, or tell us anything outright????

It's the name of their rehearsal space. Doug's nickname was Cosmo, being in the foreground of the cover shot, showing off his factory.

Thanks, Seej. I couldn't find that info anywhere. Do you know of a Web site that details info like this? I couldn't find anything on the Internet (e.g., location of recording and mixing; the type of stuff that's usually in fine print on the album.
Thanks again, John |
COSMO IS DRUMMER DOUG CLIFFORD'S NICKNAME. THE FACTORY IS THE OLD CONVERTED WAREHOUSE IN BERKELEY WHERE THE BAND REHEARSED THEIR MATERIAL. COSMO WAS THE FRONT MAN FOR THE GROUP BECAUSE JOHN WAS NOT COMFORTABLE IN THAT ROLE. HE WAS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE GROUP AND WAS UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE TO PRODUCE QUALITY WORDS AND MUSIC SO THAT THE BAND WOULD CONTINUE TO BE SUCCESSFUL. CONTRIBUTED BY CHARLES P. CARUSO, AUGUSTA. GEORGIA
