Creedence Movie Soundtrack Question.
This is a little bit spammy, but not really.
I need some help, and thought some people more in the know than myself may be able to help. Here is the question: Hi, I am making a short and wanted to use some Creedence tracks on the soundtrack. I'm not too fussed about getting permission as it is just a spec short. I was wondering what Creedence tracks had been used in movies before, particular in the horror genre. I would like to know the track name, the movie's title and possibly the context it is used, if you know it. The main tracks I am interested in are: Down On The Corner Up Around The Bend Off the top of my head I have: The Midnight Special - the opening wraparound in Twilight Zone: The Movie. Bad Moon Rising - An American Werewolf In London. I have listed this on Yahoo Answers too, where someone has linked me to their IMDb profile but I am particularly keen on learning the context the song is used. I've had a look here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2045052/, obviously.
But I am particularly keen on the context of the songs. Please help. |
The best song by Creedence Clearwater Revival for a horror movie that I can think of is "Walk On The Water." Either that, "Graveyard Train," or "Gloomy." Pretty much their first two albums have a darker feeling to them that might help with the mood you're trying to set.
Oh and "I Put A Spell On You" would work also. |
