kustom amp & John Fogerty

I have an amplifier (Kustom 200B-4), marked inside by these markings :

"CCR MD" written on the inside of the chassis, and has a John Fogerty signature on the top frame of the amp.
Is there a place where this might be addressed, to see if it is indeed real?

I do not think it is real, as I bought it on ebay. However, the signature is a very good likeness of John's.

Thanks for your time,
Rob

Well, I know that CCR performed with Kustom Amps while on tour, the only tuck n roll kustom I remember is fogerty's main drive, and he kept it, infact still uses it on occasion.

Most of CCR's amplifiers were marked "CREEDENCE",

If you think its real, then have it inspected/appraised.

(Video of Susie Q from 1997, shows JCF's actual kustom amp)
also, Here is an old forum posting about a previous sale of JCF's amps and such
this was supposedly a real ccr amp being sold, shows the markings I expect to see on a real one, yours should be like this.

All CCR members used Kustom amps.

Stu Cook's K200 A-4 amp head (identical to John's) is for sale at a collector's website.
There was also an Ebay listing of a K150-7 which was supposedly their backstage/practice amp. The seller says he acquired it directly from Doug Clifford's son Brent. He also recently sold John's backup amp (K200 A-4 with 2x15'' cab) with CREEDENCE marked upside-down on the back.

John's famous Kustom certainly wasn't his only one. If you look closely at the video footage of them in the Albert Hall, there is indeed a Kustom stack visible behind Doug. I suppose that's the recently sold 'backup-amp'.

I don't think they ever used K200 B-4 heads. I've heard rumors of people marking old Kustoms with CREEDENCE so that they can pretend it was John's.
Could you upload some pics please?
