Hey, I'm surrounded by young 'uns here.....good on ya'all!!! ......I'm working in Italy and I can only smile at some of the posts up here because here in Italy, your gen of kids thought "I heard it thru the grapevine" was a new song written for some (crappy) car ad on TV.....hehehehehehhehehehehhehe...little did they know it was a CCWR classic written moons ago.....well, when I took the original album in class one day (I teach ESOL English to Italian students!), at first they wouldn't believe me thinking I was nuts, then they just couldn't help asking me to bring all the band's albums in class!!!! Great kids after all...."!

God, I'm 33 and I wasn't even born when CCR was a big success. I remember having felt a bit curious about that song that was performed on Forrest Gump. After that, I grew up as a CCR fan.

I think that CCR is alive today, and seeing so many young (younger than me) new fans denotes that the CCR music has evolved out of time.cro

By The Way, I'm from Ecuador. Not only CCR has crossed the borderline of time. Even the language is not a problem. Good Music is Universal.

I am taking My 16 year old daughter to the concert at the palace. She is a young listener and doesn't even know it.
We are big Bob Seger fans so she has heard his cover of Fortunate Son. This Christmas We saw The Trans-Siberian orchestra cover Proud Mary. And last night we watched the movie Live Free or Die Hard. She knows all the hits and will have a good time.I raised her right.

Where is everybody?
Is there another, more popular CCR forum?

Im 17 myself, and love every song i have heard of CCR so far, and its not a small amount of songs. But the strange and abit sad thing is when some of my friends ask like : "wtf is Creedence Clearwater Revival?!"

It's amazing how music can be so timeless. We are talking 40 odd years now. I'm 21 and from Australia and I love heaps of Creedence songs. I would have to say that Up Around the Bend would be my favorite along with Lodi and Bad Moon Rising.
I have a few friends who love them as well and they always find a spot on our party playlists.
