Do any of you like this band? Personaly I HATE IT!!! This weekend I heard them for the first time and it just made me angry that they got somebody to play JOHNS songs and made an effort for SOMEONE ELSE to sound like JOHN made me angry.We all this is VERY STUPID BECAUSE THIS CANT BE DONE!!!! Also the fact that they did this with the name CREEEDENCE CLEARWATER REVISITED even made me more angry. Now I completely understand and agree with John that they did this for the money. I just cant stand this band!!! Dont get me wrong, Stu and Doug are REALLY good musicians I just HATE the band that they started. It is not right and its all for the money!!! I wouldnt go to one of their concerts even if you paid me!!! I mean why go see them if the genius behind the masterpieces is touring? Trying to replace John like this is FOOLISH and STUPID!!!!! How many of you guys like this band or dont like this band? I think I made statement pretty clear. I hope you have a nice day and ROCK ON!!!

I agree John is masterful and replacing someone who is a genious is plain old ignorant. I say give John the kuddos or better yet the rights to the songs he wrote, and maybe fans would come back.

What the hell are you talking about? John is a total asshole if you had ANY idea what he did to the band and what he tried to do wjth their money you would have absolutely no liking for him at all. I know two of the three remaining members of CCR and they fought real hard to be able to play THEIR songs publicly and with the wisdom and logic of the judge they can now. As far as someone sounding like John, Johnnie is awesome!! and a damn nice guy to boot! So stop the bashing unless you know the history, and you don't!

Do you know what Stu and Cosmo did to John? John was fighting hard to get his songs back and then Stu , Cosmo and even Tom sided with Fantasy and claimed Saul was their best friend.Now how would you feel it your songs where 'taken away' and then to make it worse your former band mates sided with Saul when they know how much your songs mean to you? Infact Cosme is the one who said to Saul that Old Man Down The Road sounded like Run Though The Jungle. Those songs are not really their songs anyway. They are Johns songs he WROTE them they didnt. John fought really hard to get his songs back but he never could. Then Cosmo and Stu come along and make a band called Creedence Clearwater Revivsited and sing HIS songs and make money off of them when John should be the one making money off of them. Not only this but there are 22-24 songs on their album and most of them are songs that John wrote.It seems like all they are out to do is to make money. Look at the facts they are write in front of you.Tom even said on his deathbed that Saul was his best friend when he knows how much John hated him. Like I said dont get me wrong they are wonderful musicians and that is a fact!!! But I hate their band and what they did was wrong. They support a theif and a lier and why would they do that? Since you know 2 of the 3 remian members ask them why do they support Saul he ripped them off really bad. To me that is very dumb. Why support someone that stole from you? It os obviuos they just wanted to hurt John. Then they go and form this band and sing his songs that he fought hard for to get. Well I have got to go. I hope you have a nice day and ROCK ON!!!

Hi Music Girl , I am totally OK with you. I have heard about CC Revisited some years ago and I was totally angry about those guys . Today in 2005 ,I still didn't listen one of their recordings. Even if they have a concert in Paris ,I won't go . Doug & Stu were right when they were with the Fogerty brothers. They were at their right place and the result was probably one of the best Drum & Bass duet in the world. Today ,It"s a real pity to see they can wear the name of CCR. The name & Spirit of CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL belong only to JOHN FOGERTY. All I can say is that I will always agree with JOHN concerning his relations with his two old partners. JOHN is right , JOHN is clean in his mind. JOHN is the best .I will also ,always prefer a ' DEJA VU ' than a REVISITED. OA . Olivier

SHAME on you Doug Clifford & Stu Cook . It seems you have always be jealous. You always knew that John was the creator in CREEDENCE days . You will never reach the level of JOHN FOGERTY and all you can do is to try to appropriate the JOHN's songs. It's a real pity and a real shame. How can you live with ? OA Paris

You are sooo right Olivier!! John was the name and spirt of CCR. I mean if John left the group do you think that Cosmo Stu and Tom would go anywear or still have fame like they did with Creedence? No of corse not!!! Think about this you know how Saul ripped of Creedence right? Well Saul ripped Creedence off and they are still his best friend? That is a little dumb if you ask me!!! If someone ripped me off like that I would be angry not be his best friend!! I think they sided with Saul just to hurt John and make him angry. Olivier, you are smart!!! I am totally OK with you too! Spot on Olivier! John was the heart, soul, and backbone of CCR! As much as I love CCR as a band, I can understand the lack of interest John had by the time the 'Mardi Gras' album/project came about. Doug, Stu, and Tom should've been greatful to John for the living they made - mind you, they were all musicians in their own right, but it was John that 'tuned the motor'.
As far as Saul is concerned, well, he can rot in hell. He must've had the tongue wagging overtime to have gotten the others offside with John. At least John should outlive the prick!
