Can anyone tell me more on the name clearwater. as far as i understand the band got the name from a beer commercial. Anyone know more, i.e. what beer commercial it was, what brewing company, etc.? Thanks a million! boz

Golloiwogs was a name that the record company put on their first(?) record ,without asking the band-members.

Ok Lets do one at a time. CREEDENCE= TOM HAD A FRIEND NAMED CREDENCE NUBAL. CLEARWATER= JOHN SAW A BEER ADVERTISEMENT AND A WATER TREATMENT SPECIAL. REVIVAL= WE ALL KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS. IT MEANS THE REVIVAL OF THE BAND. I hope this helps
