please u got to help me i dont know what is the genre and the style of CCR.
i know that like many other bands, CCR play different styles of music but i need to know what is his general style. please help me ok pd. sorry about my english. im not really good at it thanks

if you must put a name to the sound to CCR i think it would be swamp-rock...

Yes, swamp rock. They call it so. In fact, it's country rock (rock'n'roll + blues + country + bluegrass... & so on), but very special! ;-) I was told that Tony 'Swamp Fox' Joe White established the style, but to my mind CCR music sounds much more swampy!!

It's only terminology, but I think "swamp music" is the name of the band's music genre. I hear some good 'ol voodoo-oriented bass lines like in Bad Moon Rising. Some critics add that the band's music is also "post-Woodstock West Coast" whatever that might imply.
