green river
I live in winters, ca and have found out that green river is putah creek. so when john fogerty was a child his family would come to this creek for vacation. it was there that my wife's grandfather owned cabins and a camp area which is mentioned in the song. The camp was name after his last name Cody. His full name was William Cody and he was a direct decended of buffalo bill cody. my wife has a lot of history in this family. i would like to talk to john fogerty about this time in his life but can't find a way to reach him. any sugestion would be great.

Hey How r u doing? Weare neighbors, I live in Vacaville. You are correct about the song Green River being about Putah Creek. I think that the song is great, and i LOVE CCR
