BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty is leaving Creedence Clearwater Revival, turning one of rock's hottest quartets into a trio.
"This isn't a Beatles split," spokesman Jake Rohrer said Tuesday. "There is no disharmony in the group." Fogerty, 29, said he wants to quit touring and spend more time with his wife and four children and also wants to produce and record an album of his own material.
