possible CCR collectable

I've always been a CCR fan but never realized that I might have a lighter that once belonged to Stu Cook. I grew up hearing stories told by my father about this zippo lighter that was given to him in the late 60's by a musician who told him "you better hang on to it, it might be worth something when we make it big." My dad gave me that zippo a few years ago and again told me the same story. Not until my wife asked about it's history did I put 2 and 2 together. I still need more info on stu to comfirm the story.
